Ed Little v. Mississippi Department of Human Services; Harrison Circuit Court 2nd District; LC Case #: 2001-85; Ruling Date: 11/15/2001; Ruling Judge: Robert Walker; Disposition: By order entered January 30, 2003, Ed Little was ordered to show cause why he should not be sanctioned for offensive and disrespectful language in his petition for rehearing filed with this Court on December 2, 2002. On the Court's own motion, after reviewing Little's response to the show cause order, the Court finds that Little has not shown cause why sanctions are not appropriate in this matter. Little is hereby sanctioned in the amount of $1000.00 to be paid to the Clerk of this Court within thirty days of entry of this order for his utter disrespect for the authority of this Court. If Little fails to pay the sanction within the time allotted, a show cause order will be entered requiring Little to appear in person before this Court to determine what further sanction, including possible incarceration for contempt, would be appropriate. The Clerk of this Court shall mail a filed copy of the executed order to Ed Little. McRae, P.J., and Diaz, J., not participating. Order entered.
