Teel, Walter W., Chancellor for the Eighth Chancery Court District of Mississippi, In the Matter of LC Case # 2001-277; Ruling: 02/12/2002; Disposition: This matter has come before the Court en banc on Petition to Lift Suspension filed by Judge Walter W. Teel. The Commission on Judicial Performance on June 24, 2002 responded to the petition saying that at that time the Formal Complaint underlying Judge Teel's suspension was still pending before the Commission. On August 2, 2002, the Commission filed with this Court its order dismissing the Formal Complaint without prejudice. The Court now finds that the suspension should be vacated. The suspension of Walter W. Teel ordered by this Court on February 21, 2002 is vacated. Waller and Diaz, JJ., Not Participating. Order entered.

That order showed Justice Diaz as not participating, while in fact he joined therein and in the relief granted.
