Welcome to the State of Mississippi Judiciary
This web site is designed to make information about the state court system easily accessible to the public. Here you will find opinions of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, the laws of the state of Mississippi in the searchable Mississippi Code, rules of court, and an online catalog of the legal collections of the State Library. You may read dockets of cases pending on appeal. There are links to live broadcasts of oral arguments of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.

You will find information about the structure of the court system, and the kinds of matters which are dealt with at each level. Biographies are available of members of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Court statistics from 1996 forward are available in annual reports. A news page includes press releases and other announcements of the court, with an archive dating back to 2001.

For appellate cases heard at the Mississippi Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, Mississippi College School of Law maintains a web site (Judicial Database) which allows the public to view oral arguments, read legal briefs filed in the case, and perform statistical research.

If your inquiry concerns contact information, follow the links to the office of the Supreme Court Clerk, the Administrative Office of Courts and the state trial courts.
