Chief Justice to swear in Workers’ Compensation Commission Chairman Liles Williams today Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice James W. Smith Jr. will give the oath of office to Workers’ Compensation Commission Chairman Liles B. Williams at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 21. The swearing in ceremony will be at the offices of the Workers’ Compensation Commission, 1428 Lakeland Drive in Jackson, in Hearing Room C on the second floor. Gov. Haley Barbour appointed Williams, of Raymond, to the commission as a representative of employers on Dec. 1. His six-year term began Jan. 1. Williams’ appointment was confirmed by the Mississippi Senate today. #### |
