Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Ann H. Lamar of Senatobia was elected chair of the Board of Governors of the Mississippi Judicial College. Judicial conferences meet in April and October for continuing education training, and periodically during other times of the year to discuss legal and judicial issues which arise in their courts. They make recommendations on issues affecting their courts.
