Proposed Appellate Mediation Rule
The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of The Mississippi Bar petitioned the Court to authorize appellate mediation. The Court’s Rules Committee on Civil Practice and Procedure referred that petition to the Court’s Advisory Committee on Rules. The Advisory Committee proposed a voluntary appellate mediation pilot program, which was posted for comment on March 3, 2014.
After further consideration, the Rules Committee on Civil Practice and Procedure seeks comments on a proposed appellate mediation rule.
